Ле Нотр (Lenotre, LeNotre, Le Nostre) Андре (12.3.1613, Париж, - 15.9.1700, там же), французский архитектор-паркостроитель. Сын главного садовника Тюильри - Ж. Ленотра. С 1657 "генеральный контролёр строений" Людовика XIV. С 1653 руководил работами в парке Во-ле-Виконт, в 1660-х гг. - в королевских парках Сен-Жермен, Фонтеноло, Шантийи, Сен-Клу, Тюильри (Париж). В 1662, будучи в Англии, составил проекты Сент-Джеймс-парка (в Лондоне) и Гринвичского парка. Автор парков Версаля (См. Версаль). Л. развил принцип геометрической планировки и подстрижки насаждений, характерный для итальянских садов эпохи Возрождения. Сочетая рационализм Классицизма с пространственным размахом Барокко, Л. создал систему построения обширного регулярного ("французского") парка, в котором расстилающийся перед дворцом партер с узорными газонами, зеркалами водоёмов, фонтанами и чёткая сеть прямых аллей завершаются далёкими видовыми перспективами. Система Л. до середины 18 в. была господствующей в европейском паркостроительстве (см. Садово-парковое искусство).
